Art of my Life

In the beginning, I decided to avoid a diary-style blog, and I vowed to post a picture of my art each day with a shorten short description.  I failed.

"My profession is getting in the way of my passion," is my favorite quote explaining my failure.  However, "Parenthood zapped my energy," sums up my current state of being very well.

Do not read too deeply and think I am unhappy at work or home.  That is not true.  I love my job and believe my family is the greatest.  For some reason though, when I get done teaching teenagers to be creative, chasing the kids around, cooking dinner, playing some more, getting the kids ready for bed, and preparing to do it all over the next day I have no desire to draw or paint.
Through some reflection and self evaluation, I realized my daily life is filled with my artistic talent.  Starting today each blog post is going to be about the "art of my life"-- not just the art I create.

Even with this new direction this still isn't a diary . . . I think.
