"Treehouse Cafe" is the restaurant my wife and I run out of our kitchen. Our exclusive guest list consist of close friends and family (the guest list is exclusive because all meals are free). New customers are welcome, but must be pre-approved.
We try to create an experience for diners filled with delicious, beautiful dishes, engaging conversation, and lasting memories.
Our menu offers something for everyone. One of our long-time breakfast favorites has been pancakes. Recently we started playing around with the batter and came up with our "house pancakes."
Here we served house pancakes with two eggs over easy and two strips of turkey bacon. To wash it down we offered a triple berry smoothie: strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries.
Pancakes:
- 1 cup pancake batter
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Smoothie:
- 1 cup crushed ice
- fresh or frozen strawberries
- fresh or frozen blackberries
- fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 1/2 cup greek yogurt
